Fierce Fur

It blows my mind that we’re already in the latter half of November, with winter lurking right around the corner. And even though I still haven’t stocked up on some much-needed winter items (a heavier wool coat for the chilly Philadelphia weather, for one), I’m stumbling upon a few other winter finds to drool over, too.
First on the list: (faux) fur. I’ve wanted a faux-fur vest for the last couple of winters, but never found one I was sold on. Now my fur frenzy has expanded beyond just a vest, with a craving for everything from fur-trimmed purses and boots to full-on fur coats and scarves. The luxurious fabric has the power to elevate absolutely any look, and the neutral palette it often comes in is perfect for my minimal style.

1. Shopper tote by Zara 2. Faux-fur coat by Unreal Fur 3. Buckled vest by Mint Velvet 4. Faux-fur snood by Monsoon 5. Fur jacket by H&M 6. Fur and lizard-skin clutch by Valentino 7. Fur-trimmed boots by Gucci 8. Fur-collar dress by Roberto Cavalli 9. Color-blocked scarf by River Island 10. Fur-lined gloves by Ted Baker
I would throw on that black + white faux-fur coat with some leather leggings and killer heels for a night out, and the River Island color-blocked scarf would look so luxe over a white cable-knit sweater and skinnies for a casual daytime look.
Are you into fur? If so, how do you plan to rock it this season?
