Friday Four

Oh, hello again, Friday! So nice of you to finally arrive. Even though it’s been quite the enjoyable week—with more sunlight and a little bit of warm weather here and there—I’m always excited for Friday to roll around, as it means I get a chance to catch up on a lot of “me time” that I neglect throughout the week. This weekend will include lots of ACC basketball, magazine reading and trip planning (I’m making plans to visit NC in April for my mom’s birthday and the arrival of my new niece or nephew!), but I’m sure I’ll also squeeze in some time to browse the Web for all kinds of new things to obsess over.

Fortunately for you guys, I’ve already uncovered a few of those things this week. So without further ado, take a peek at everything I want to visit, wear, live with and eat this week:

fashion, style, dress, clothing, shopping, spring dress, mini dress, cotton dress, printed dress, printed mini dress, tibi, tibi dress, designer dress, travel, costa rica, office, home office, office inspiration, office design, design, decor, office decor, decorating, home decor, inspiration board, pinboard, collage, wall collage, office desk, food, cooking, dinner, sandwich, dinner recipe, lunch, lunch recipe, sandwich recipe, grilled cheese ,grilled cheese sandwich, lasagna grilled cheese, lasagna grilled cheese recipe

Clockwise from top left: Costa Rica; printed dress; inspiration board; and grilled cheese sandwich.

Visit: Costa Rica

When our friends were visiting last weekend, we got to talking about taking a couples’ trip together in the near future. We threw around a few destination ideas, including everything from Vegas (boys’ choice, of course) and Aruba to Vail and—my favorite—Costa Rica. Though it may be a few years before we can make this last dream a reality, I can think of worse ways to spend my time than daydreaming about the beautiful beaches and stunning rain forests.

Wear: Printed cotton mini dress from Tibi

I came across this dress the other day while browsing one of my favorite sites, and it was one of those situations in which I had to do a total double take because I couldn’t believe how gorgeous this dress was. I don’t have anything in my wardrobe remotely like it, but the print, shape and voluminous skirt has me wishing I could add it to my closet immediately.

Live With: Inspiration board (photo via La Dolce Vita)

I have a spattering of pretty photos and magazine tear outs hanging on the wall in front of my desk, but for some reason, I can’t seem to make my mini-collage as chic the ones I see all over Pinterest and my favorite decor blogs. So I’m hoping that turning to a pin board—which I can populate with all of the photos, quotes and other images that inspire me every day—will help make my ideal collage become a reality. Now, all I have to do is find one I really love (any and all suggestions are gladly accepted!).

Eat: Lasagna Grilled Cheese via Joy the Baker

I love a good sandwich (says the girl who’s eaten a classic PB&J for lunch every day for the past two weeks), so my mouth immediately started watering as soon as I caught a glimpse of this delicious-looking sandwich over at Joy the Baker. I’m crazy about anything that A) is easy to make, and B) includes mozzarella, tomatoes and basil, so this sure-to-be tasty recipe is right up my alley. Simple Sunday lunch, anyone?

What are you obsessing over this week?
