Happy St. Patrick’s Day, everyone! Whether you’re celebrating with a parade, a pint of Guinness or just a hint of green in your outfit, I hope it’s a day full of fun and festivities (and no painful pinches!).
Speaking of, I made sure to root around in my closet for something green to wear today and in the process, I discovered that I had quite a few more pieces in the beautiful hue than I originally thought. And for good reason: Green is one of those colors that, in the right shade, flatters everyone and can be worn the whole year through. Whether it’s lime green in spring, kelly green in summer, hunter green for the fall or a seasonal shade around the holidays, it’s a color that just never gets old.
That’s why I’ve rounded up a set of 14 green pieces—including blouses, bottoms, dresses and accessories—that you’ll want to wear not only this very second, but for the rest of the year, too. Check them out:
I’m a big fan of the rich, kelly green shade—as it best matches my skin tone—so you’ll notice a lot of pieces (that marvelous M Missoni dress for starters) in the hue. But I also adore some of the brighter and deeper shades, too, like the light green in that adorable snakeskin-embossed clutch and the deep green in that basic, pair-with-anything pair of denim. And then there are those Burberry pumps, with that rich satin and deep shade of green—is there anyone in the world who wouldn’t go crazy for them?
Are you a big fan of green in your wardrobe? And what kind of green are you sporting for the holiday?
