I’m sure I’m not the only one who struggles with it, but picking out a Father’s Day gift (or any gift for my dad, really) is nearly impossible. He’s one of those wonderful men who never really wants anything and when he does, he goes out and buys it himself without telling anyone he wants it. So I’m always left grasping at straws for perfect gift ideas, after which I typically end up getting him a simple gift card or yet another pair of tennis shoes.
And because I’m sure many of you identify with this struggle and have yet to pick up the perfect gift for dad, I thought I’d put together a roundup of 10 last-minute gifts that nearly any dad would love on his special day. Check them out:
Spice up dad’s wardrobe with a shot of color thanks to orange-trimmed shoes or a fun silicone watch, or lend him a sophisticated edge with a leather iPad case, classic sunglasses or rugged-but-stylish briefcase. Give him a reason to hit the pool or beach this summer with a basic-but-never-boring pair of swim trunks, and help round out his bar collection with a set of always-useful whiskey stones. Set him up in stripes with an awesome bow tie or patterned socks, or help him look (and) feel his best with a refreshing algae facial cleanser.
