Piggybacking on yesterday’s post about last-minute Father’s Day gifts, I’m sure plenty of you forego presents altogether in favor of just having or making a nice dinner for dad. And since I’ve never met a dad or guy, in general, who doesn’t love to grill (or at least love to eat grilled foods), I thought it would be a smart idea to round up a few great grilling recipes to cook up this Father’s Day. Check out these 10:
In my mind, a good meat is where nearly any meal—and especially one that’s grilled—starts, so why not throw a thick, juicy, bourbon-glazed pork chop on the grill or whip up some of those delicious-looking Asian drumsticks. For all of you seafood lovers out there, that barbecued shrimp dish sounds absolutely mouthwatering, and seriously, how amazing do those oysters look? Plus, if you’re looking for a healthy (but still delicious) protein, you can’t go wrong with grilled salmon.
Because no grilled meal is complete without a few sides, add some veggies to your plate with these recipes for grilled artichokes, tomatoes and scallions. Throw some fruit into the mix with succulent grilled pineapple, and finish it all off with a few ripe and juicy peaches (which make the perfect dessert when topped with ice cream and pecans!).
How many of you will be cooking for dad this Father’s Day, and what do you plan to make?
