Friday Four

Happy Friday, everyone! I am so looking forward to the weekend this week, during which I plan to sleep in (until 8, at least!), grab breakfast at my favorite bagel shop, cook a nice meal and enjoy a little time outdoors (assuming the weather cooperates). Sadly, I won’t be able to see my dad this Father’s Day, as making a trip to NC isn’t exactly the easiest thing to do, but I hope all of you get to enjoy some great time with your fathers!

But before we all head into the weekend and start celebrating dad, I wanted to share everything I’m wanting to eat, wear, live with and visit this week:

food, cooking, baking, cookies, cookie recipe, dessert, dessert recipe, sweets, sweets dessert, brownie cookies, brownie cookies recipe, double chocolate cookies, style, fashion, romper, printed romper, topshop, tropical print romper, home, home decor, decor, decorating, home decorating, diy, travel, new york, new york botanical garden, garden, botanical garden

Clockwise from top: Double-chocolate cookies; tropical-print romper; striped fridge; and botanical garden.

Eat: Chocolate Brownie Cookies via Food & Wine

One of the best things about our new apartment is the massive kitchen, which actually has a full-sized oven and plenty of counter space. That definitely means a lot of baking will be going down in that kitchen, and I plan to start it this weekend with these double-chocolate cookies!

Wear: Palm-leaf romper by Topshop

I’m crushing on printed rompers for summer, and you really couldn’t ask for more in a romper than this beautifully patterned, strapless and structured number from Topshop, which could work both dressed down for day and dressed up at night.

Live With: Striped fridge (photo via The Everygirl)

Have you ever seen a more beautiful fridge? And considering that you could do it yourself with just some duct tape and a little patience, it’s a DIY that would definitely be worth your time.

Visit: New York Botanical Garden, Bronx, New York (photo via Calling It Home)

Harrison and I are still trying to figure out exactly what we want to do this weekend, but I’d really love to do something outdoors. And (for me, at least), a trip to the unbelievably gorgeous New York Botanical Garden would be just perfect.

What do you want to eat, wear, live with and visit this week?
