Who ever said classic has to mean boring? Life in Classics is all about celebrating the timeless, sophisticated pieces that never go out of style and always look chic, from a striking red lip or a tailored LBD to sleek black pumps and a crisp, white button down. It’s a blog for the girl who dresses for her body, loves a clean line and lives by the idea of “what’s old is new again.” She’s tasteful, tailored and glamorous and knows how to mix classic pieces with modern styles, prints and pieces. From dressing and eating to decorating and entertaining, this blog is a guide for living a polished, refined and always-chic life—a Life in Classics.
Mary lives a joyfully simple life with her boyfriend, Harrison, and their rascal of a Boxer-Pit mix, Paul. She graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2011 with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication and a minor in Russian Literature and Culture. She’s studied in Dublin, lived in New York City and traveled everywhere from Mexico and Scotland to Amsterdam and Paris. She loves fashion, decorating, entertaining, travel, food, sports, planning anything and everything, and, of course, a classic way of living. She started her blog in January 2013, with the goal of sharing her love for modern-meets-classic style, food, design and more.
